One Hundred Homes, One Beautiful Garden Spring is here . . . with the familiar explosion of color that accompanies our favorite season. As you can see from the photos above, Watergate's grounds and plantings look terrific. And we haven't even begun this year's planned landscaping projects for the North Pitt Street mini-mews, walkways leading to the fishpond, First Street corridor, red maple tree courtyard, and southern berm area. We are trying out green benches in several locations in the complex, although white benches will continue to predominate. We are determined to install the birdbaths that fate denied us last year. Watergate's migratory ducks are back, and have again taken up residence near the fishpond. The pair seem at home and comfortable dwelling among us, and more ducklings seem likely in the weeks ahead. Painting of the stucco units will soon begin, likely to be followed by the painting of the brick units in Phase II of the complex. We are continuing to look at the garage access ramps, exterior metal gates, and wooden fences. Please let us know if you see anything that might require out attention. Grounds and Infractructure
